Injustice: Gods Among Us Review | GodisaGeek

GodisaGeek: "Injustices change of control scheme from Mortal Kombat feels a little jarring at first for players of NetherRealm Studios previous outing, but it doesnt take long to get to grips with it, and when you do youll be loving the simplicity of it while enjoying the complexity of the combos and special moves. If youre a fan of DC Comics as well as a fan of fighters then Injustice: Gods Among Us is a no-brainer. The Story Mode will make you fall in love with the game, but once thats done and you start unlocking the different areas, alternate costumes and all the unlockable battles, youll find yourself falling in love over and over again. Then theres the battle between Batman and Batman. I mean what the I dont even BATMAN!"

ThisisXbox: "Injustice: Gods Among Us is by far NetherRealms most well-made game. The combination of a huge cast of characters, with several alternate costumes keeps things fresh. A 2-3 hour long story mode combined with S.T.A.R. Labs and Classic Battle mode will take weeks if not months to complete. Working to unlock all of the costumes will keep you busy all by itself."

GameArena: "Injustice probably won't be making the pro-fighting game circuits any time soon, but it's an important fighter nonetheless. The team at NetherRealm actively tried to bring something new to the fighting game arena (haw) and their increased emphasis on environmental play did exactly that.
It doesn't match the level of finesse exhibited in their first game, but Injustice is still a stellar example of writing - especially in a fighting game - and with Story mode, Arcade mode, Versus matches and the STARS Labs it offers a ludicrously large amount of value for money."

The positives far out-way any complaints we had about the game. Being able to use the environment as a weapon depending on which character to play with was a huge bonus and added to the overall fun factor of Injustice Gods Among Us. As far as fighting games go in 2013 Injustice Gods Among Us is clearly the winner thus far competitors like Capcom and Namco Bandai have much to live up to going into the nex-next generation of gaming consoles.

After having made a successful reboot of the Mortal Kombat series, NetherRealm back to the load with a title fight, which is best played by DC Comics.
Characters such as Batman and Superman have had their share of ownership in-game, but there are many others that have not been explored as possibly deserved. Surely, one of the attractions of Injustice: God Among Us is precisely the ability to control a lot of heroes and villains, something that went unnoticed in videogames.
